Railway vehicles for passengers transport

Electroputere VFU Pascani SA has projects for new construction railway vehicles, as follows:

• Diesel Multiple Unit (DMU) – configuration 2 or 3 modules, maximum speed 120 km/h, designed for regional transport;
• Electric Multiple Unit (EMU) - configuration 3 or 4 modules, maximum speed 160 km/h, designed for interregional transport;
• Passenger carriages - maximum speed 160 km/h or 200 km/h with different interior layout variants (saloon, sleeping cars); designed for interregional transport;

  Electroputere VFU Pascani SA provides maintenance services for railway passenger vehicles in accordance with Directive 2004/49/EC and OMT no. 635/2015, to the following:

• Siemens DESIRO SR 20D DMUs (R8, R9)
• Double decker train for passengers series: 16-05, 26-05;
• Individual double deck passenger cars series: 26-16, 36-16, 84-16;
• Suburban passenger cars series: 11-47, 21-47, 24-57;
• Passenger class wagons series: 20-47, 20-57, 10-31, 29-22, 20-54, 20-58, 20-68;

  Since 2005, Electroputere VFU Pascani SA has consolidated its position and know-how in the segment of modernized railway vehicles, through the redesign and reconstruction of more than 200 units.
